Author Description Petrus Abraham Samuel van Limburg Brouwer: Please use 'P.A.S. van Limburg Brouwer' (as mentioned by Dutch KB) as primary author.<br /><br />P.A.S. van Limburg Brouwer was a Dutch author born in Luik/Liège, Belgium, who died in The Hague, the Netherlands. In 1850 he was awarded a PhD in literature and law. He worked at the Haagse Rijksarchief (National Achive in The Hague) from 1855 till his death. From 1864 til 1867 he was a liberal member of the Dutch Tweede Kamer (House of Commons/Congress). He wrote a lot about eastern history, philosophy and literature. <i>Akbar</i> was his only novel.
