Author Description Horst Hoffmann is a German author, also known under the pen name Neil Kenwood.<br /><br />He studied art history and economics in his youth before deciding to become a writer. His first novel was published in 1976.<br /><br />He started working on the <i>Atlan</i> series, and in 1982, his first <i>Perry Rhodan</i> booklet novel was published (#1076). His stories were often satirical in nature.<br /><br />He announced his retirement from the <i>Perry Rhodan</i> writing team in September of 2009.
