Author Description Initially, the name "Havank" was used as a pseudonym by Dutch writer <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6543665.Hans_van_der_Kallen" rel="nofollow noopener">Hans van der Kallen</a>.<br /><br />After his death in 1964, his oeuvre was continued by <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/1013616.Pieter_Terpstra" rel="nofollow noopener">Pieter Terpstra</a>, who used the "Havank+Terpstra" pseudonym until 1985.<br /><br />In 2008, at their 140th birthday, Dutch publisher Bruna asked the writer <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/305705.Tomas_Ross" rel="nofollow noopener">Tomas Ross</a> to write a novel in honour of Hans van der Kallen. He then used the pseudonym "Havank Ross".
