All his books were first published (in Dutch) under the author name Kluun. Many translations are published under the name of "Ray Kluun".<br /><br />After Kluun's wife died of cancer, he started to write down his experiences in his first book "Komt een vrouw bij de dokter" ("A woman visited her doctor" - translated into English as "Love life") which wasn't well received by the critics, but sold 500.000 copies in the Netherlands. He also wrote a sequel called "The widow".<br /><br />"The widow" was followed up by a book called "Help I inpregnated my wife" which deals with the experiences of a man during the pregnancy of his wife. <br /><br />He wrote two other book after that, one of which was given away for free with the purchase of a sixpack of beer. <br /><br />Kluun is also the founder of an internet community for ugly people, which he founded as a parody of an internet dating site which only accepted "good looking" people.
